PURPOSE: A biochip is provided to realize excellent measuring efficiency and accuracy. CONSTITUTION: A biochip comprises a first substrate(110) and a second substrate(120) which have the plurality of microwells(W). The first substrate has a plurality of microwells which is formed on one side of the substrate at a predetermined depth. The bottom and lateral sides of the microwells are hydrophilic and hydrophobic, respectively. The hydrophilic plate is made of a polymer or glass. The polymer is polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA), polycarbonate(PC), or polyethylene. The hydrophilic plate is formed of a transparent material. The hydrophobic plate has a plurality of through-holes at predetermined intervals. The depth and diameter of the through-holes are 1000-2000 um and 50-1000 um, respectively.
