The high temperature fuel cell system comprises a fuel gas-guiding anode (13), an air-conducting cathode (12) and a steam reformer (3) for fuel gas preparation. The steam reformer is arranged upstream of the fuel gas-guiding anode, where de-ionized water is supplied for producing hydrogen-enriched fuel gas over a line (26).
