<p>The method involves connecting fresh air intake channel (1), fresh air discharge channel (2), exhaust gas supply channel (3) and exhaust gas discharge channel (4) at different points of pressure wave supercharger (B) so that supercharging pressure is formed in internal combustion engine (A). The channels are connected to the engine by a gas valve (F). The cross-sectional areas of channel openings are set by control element (D). The position of control element is adjusted based on difference between actual and target values indicating position of the gas valve.</p> |
