PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for establishing an operation schedule of trains are provided to establish the optimal train service plan which can satisfy user's wants. CONSTITUTION: Limiting condition for train operation schedule is input by a user(S101). A standardized train headway is set up and a plurality of businesses is assigned according to standardized train headway(S103). Allowable range of retuning number is extended(S105). The solution of available train operation schedule is obtained(S107). The train operation schedule which minimizes train DIA number is generated(S109). Time movement calculation is perform on business which don't satisfy the allowable range of retuning number and A calculation is performed to change the departure and arrival of returning number(S111). The solution of the train operation schedule that satisfies the limiting condition is selected to establish optimal train operation schedule(S113).
