<p>A testing arrangement 46 for a vehicle door or door component 16 in particular for a door intrusion beam, comprising a base frame holding two fixed brackets 26 on which respective mounting means 24 for mounting the door or door component 16 are attached pivotably with respect to an axis (28) perpendicular to a mounted door or door component (15). The arrangement further comprising at least two spring elements 32 for preloading a mounted door or door component 16 with a predetermined force along its axis of extension. In a rest position, the mounting means 24 are braced against respective pins 50 attached to the brackets 28 by means of angled bars 52 attached to the mounting means 24. Preferably an angle between a foot portion 52 of the bars 50 attached to the mounting means 24 abd a head portion 56 of the bars 50 is between 80 and 120 degrees.</p> |
