<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NOx reducing method capable of enhancing the NOx reducing performance to a great extent without bringing about degradation of the combustibility in an engine. <P>SOLUTION: Water addition is made on the way of a suction pipe 4, and the additive water is fed into the engine 1 in the form of coarse drops that reaches the explosion stroke while the water drop condition is held, and the water drops are evaporated in a lump in the explosion stroke inside the engine 1, and the combustion temperature is suppressed by the evaporating latent heat so as to reduce NOx. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
