PURPOSE: An additional information supplying system and a method thereof which uses an originating number display are provided to display country information, map information, and administrative address information in an area where an originating terminal is located. CONSTITUTION: If an originating terminal(100) requests a call to a receiving terminal(400), the receiving terminal transmits a received originating number or IP(Internet Protocol) information to an operating server(300). The receiving terminal requests map data to the operating server. The operating server transmits a country image, information data, address data, and map data to the receiving terminal based on the originating number of the IP information. The receiving terminal displays the received image and data to a user program.
