PURPOSE: A transmission system for providing URL information using a wireless terminal, and a method thereof are provided to supply detailed information in real time with a wireless terminal when a user reads detailed information about a specific object in broadcasting contents during broadcasting viewing with an IPTV. CONSTITUTION: A set-top box(200) receives contents and URL(Uniform Resource Locator) information of plural specific objects in broadcasting contents from a contents server(400). The set-top box transmits the broadcasting contents with an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)(110) in real time. If a selection signal of the specific object is inputted to the set-top box during display of the broadcasting contents, the set-top box transmits URL information of the specific object corresponding to the selection signal to a web server(500). The set-top box transmits detailed information of the selected specific object to a wireless terminal(130). |
