PURPOSE: An inductive agent for obstructive sleep apnea and a method for inducing obstructive sleep apnea using the same are provided to develop a pharmacological mechanism and treatment method for obstructive sleep apnea. CONSTITUTION: An inductive agent for obstructive sleep apnea in an animal model contains silicone oil as an active ingredient. The animal model is a rabbit. A method for inducing obstructive sleep apnea comprises a step of injecting the silicone oil into a dog or a muscle part of tongue using a spinal tap.
