PURPOSE: An oil sump is provided to guarantee excellent handling performance and safety as an additional seal is not necessary. CONSTITUTION: An oil sump comprises a filter housing(9), an oil sump housing, and a carrier unit(11). As to the oil sump housing, the lower shell of the filter housing is adjacently formed to the bottom of the sump. Fluid does not flow between the inner side of the bottom and the outside of the bottom of a lower shell sump. The carrier unit comprises a frame extended toward the perimeter of the oil sump housing. The filter housing is fixed to the carrier unit, and the frame comprises a seal between the oil sump housing and the carrier unit.
