A drinks pack comprising one or more containers which contain materials (these may be chemical reactants such as ammonium nitrate and water) that cause an endothermic reaction when mixed together. These containers are lodged within a pack of drink bottles or cans. When the endothermic reaction occurs it cools the drink bottles/cans within the pack, ensuring the bottles or cans contents are cooled. The containers may have a trigger which, when pressed or activated, causes the reactive ingredients to mix and produce the endothermic reaction. The trigger may act to break a partition between two reactants in each container so that they mix and react, and so cool the surrounding bottles or cans and the contents within. These containers may be used in packs of beverages such as beer or soft drinks. |
