<p>Provided are connectors and housing structures that enable convenient replacement of a contact without disconnection of a connector from a mounting thereof; and save space. Each connector (10) is provided with a housing (20) affixed to a mounting (51), and contacts (30). The housing (20)comprises a mounting base section (21), an interlocking section (22) placed in front of the mounting base section (21), through-holes (23) formed in the bottom section (22b) of the interlocking section (22), and layout spaces (24) that communicate with the through-holes (23) and open to the outside at the side surfaces of the housing (20). Each contact (30) comprises a first portion (31) integrated with a second portion (32) contiguous with the first portion (31). The through-holes (23) and layout spaces (24) are formed in sizes that enable the contacts (30) to be placed at specified positions within the housing (20), by inserting the contacts (30) into the housing (20) through the layout spaces (24) from the side surfaces of the housing (20).</p> |
