BACKLIGHT UNIT AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display are provided to fix multiple protrusions of a light guide plate at each fixing holes of an LED printed circuit board and to move an LED assembly according to movement of the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate(123) includes multiple LED grooves(210) and multiple protrusions(220). Multiple LED grooves are corresponded to each LED assembly(180). Multiple protrusions are protruded along the edge of each LED groove in a cover bottom direction. A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(184) includes multiple fixing holes(184a) corresponding to each protrusion. Each protrusion is inserted into multiple fixing holes.
