In the present invention, there is disclosed a pharmaceutical combination containing an agent being represented by 40-O-(2-hydroxyethyl)rapamycin and a co-agent, which is an aromatase inhibitor being preferably selected from the group consisting of atamestan, exemestan, formestane, aminoglutethimide, roglethimide, pyridoglutethimide, trilostane, testolactone, ketokonazole, vorozole, fadrozole, anastrozole and letrozole. In the present invention, there is also described the use of the 40-O-(2-hydroxyethyl)rapamycin for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition intended for the use in combination, either concurrently or successively, with the above-indicated aromatase inhibitor. The composition is suitable for the use in the treatment of breast carcinoma, further in the treatment of breast tumor invasiveness or in the prevention of carcinomatosis or in the prevention or inhibition of micrometastasis growth. |
