A method for evaluating and testing a deployment performance of an air bag by using a simulation test is provided to shorten the test condition period with respect to an air bag mounted to a passenger seat of a crash pad. A method for evaluating and testing a deployment performance of an air bag by using a simulation test includes the steps of: manufacturing a skin material by forming a base resin in the form of a sheet through calendaring(S101), forming an air bag deployment line(S102); injection-molding a core material by using polypropylene or steel(S103); manufacturing a test specimen by bonding a skin material onto an expandable foam(S104); endowing the test specimen with a temperature condition according to the test standard and performing a next impact test(S106); and analyzing the test result(S108). |
