PURPOSE: A cover for a pressure weight of a rice cooker is provided to decrease safety accidents including damage of a noise and a scald by providing a cover on the pressure weight and by mounting a storage groove gathering steam inside of the cover. CONSTITUTION: A cover for a pressure weight of a rice cooker comprises a cover(20) and a storage groove(22). The cover is installed on one side of the upper part of a rice cooker lid(10) to cover the top of a pressure weight(11). The inside perimeter of the cover is provided with a storage groove for collecting the steam ejected from the pressure weight. The cover blocks the steam with high temperature ejected from the pressure weight from directly ejecting outwards, and prevents water from flowing down on the surface of a rice cooker lid by collecting and storing moisture included in steam with high temperature.
