PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to satisfy excellent output performance and lifetime performance while improving a high voltage performance. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode active material which consists of materials indicated in chemical formula 1: Li(Ni_xMn_yCo_z)O2, chemical formula 2: LiFePO_4 and chemical formula 3: Li(Ni_aMn_bCo_c)O_2; and an ether-based electrolyte solvent combined with halogen elements. The comprised amount of the ether-based electrolyte solvent with halogen elements is 20 weight% or more based on the total weight of the electrolyte solvent. In the chemical formulas, 0.2ΔxΔ0.3, 0.6ΔyΔ0.7, 0<zΔ0.2, x+y+z=1, 0.3ΔaΔ0.7, 0.2ΔbΔ0.5, 0.1ΔcΔ0.2, and a+b+c=1.
