发明名称 Improvements in installations comprising a burner for burning liquid fuel and means for supplying fuel to the burner
摘要
342,003. Liquidfuel burners and stoves. KIP, F. E., 53, Porter Place, Montclair, New Jersey, U.S.A. Nov. 4, 1929, No. 33490. Convention date, Nov.14,1928. [Classes 75 (i) and 126.] Liquid-fuel supply; atmospheric vapour burners; grilling stoves; oven stoves. -In a system for burning liquid fuel in which fuel is supplied wholly within metal pipes and air is supplied to the burner under pressure, fuel from a main tank 13 is pumped by electric pumps 16 into auxiliary tanks 12, 12a. As shown, in a stove five burners are mounted, two below the oven 2, two above, and one within at the top projecting its flame downwardly. The bottom of the stove is made up of two sheets of metal with a layer of asbestos between, and is removable. A tray 8 and grill 10 borne on ribs 9 are provided. Each of the tanks 12, 12a is provided with a pressure gauge 21, a hand pump 22, a vent 23, and a fuel tell-tale gauge 24. Pipes 27, 27a lead to the upper burners B, C and lower burners A respectively. The fuel is vaporized in generators A<1>, B<1> (not shown), C<1>, to which valves 28a, 30, 28 control the supply. In the case of the burners C, the generator C<1> is initially heated by a burner 21 controlled by a valve 31<1> and supplied with fuel by a pipe 32 from the pipe 29. The burner 21 is preliminarily heated by oil in the priming cup 33. The vapour formed in the generator C<1> passes through the manifold 33<1> to the burners C, the amount being controlled by a valve 34. When started, the generator C<1> is heated by one of the pair of burners attached to the same manifold 33<1>. A valve controlled drainpipe 49 is provided in the manifolds 33<1>, 331<1>. Air is supplied under pressure from the tank 35 filled by a pump 36 operated by an electric motor 37. A switch 40 in the motor circuit is opened and closed by a pressure regulator 39 when the pressure reaches a desired maximum and falls below a minimum respectively. The air supply is regulated by valves 48 and valves in the pipes 45, 45a. A mirror 47 pivoted near the base shows when the flame of the lower burner is extinguished. Specifications 9627/99, 19015/01, [both in Class 51, Furnaces and kilns], 25706/03, [Class 75, Lamps &c.], 22853/04 and 13734/06, [both in Class 126, Stoves &c.], are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4138/83, 20422/02, [both in Class 51, Furnaces and kilns;, 166,515, 265,053 and 295,698, all in Class 75 (i), Burners &c.].
