PURPOSE: A cooling water cutoff device is provided to secure the safety for an operator by enabling the operator to lock or unlock a pivoting frame on a worktable without moving the same to the lower end of a roll segment to remove cooling water in the upper cooling furrow of a beam blank. CONSTITUTION: A cooling water cutoff device(20) includes a supporting shaft(21), a pivoting frame(23), an extension part(27), and a water cutoff unit(29). The supporting shaft is installed on the bottom surface of a worktable(10) facing a lower end of a roll segment . The pivoting frame is combined with the supporting shaft and turns back and forth. One end of the extension part is fixed in a hanging hole(25) of the pivoting frame and the other end is located on the upper part of the beam blank(3) passing through the lower part of the roll segment. The water cutoff unit is fixed on the other end of the extension part and moves downward by turning a pivoting frame to discharge the residual cooling water in the upper furrow of the beam blank to the outside.
