PURPOSE: A washing machine and a continuous damping device for vibration reduction of the washing machine are provided to minimize the impact caused by transition of a discontinuous damping force in a two step damping device. CONSTITUTION: A body(100) flows corresponding to an axis direction. A support rod(400) is penetrated into the body. The support rod is fixed to a cabinet. A pair of first repulsive members(230a,230b) are fixed on an upper side and a lower side of a buffer space(123) in the body. A second repulsive member(210) receives a repulsive force of a different direction from a pair of first repulsive members.
