PURPOSE: A side guide for rolling is provided to improve rolling quality by preventing foreign materials from being attached to the surface of a slab. CONSTITUTION: A side guide for rolling is composed of a frame unit(20), injection nozzle units(30), a sensor unit(40), and a control unit. The frame unit guides the side surface of a slab and comprises a liner unit(22), a fixed panel(24), and an upper panel(26). The liner unit is installed in the fixed panel and touches the side surface of the slab. The upper panel is bent from the top of the fixing panel. The injection nozzle units are installed on the top of the frame unit and inject washing fluid. The sensor unit is installed in the frame unit and senses the movement of the slab. The control unit controls the operation of the injection nozzle units by receiving the sensed result from the sensor unit.
