<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function setting management system, portable electronic device, and function setting management device capable of easily performing various kinds of function setting for the plurality of portable electronic devices. <P>SOLUTION: A function setting management system comprises a portable electronic device and a function setting management device which are capable of performing radio communication with each other. The portable electronic device comprises: first function operation means for performing operation relating to a predetermined function; first storage means for storing operation setting information on the first function operation means; first operation control means for controlling operation of the first function operation means on the basis of the operation setting; and communication control means for controlling a communication content. The function setting management device comprises second storage means for storing the operation setting information on the first function operation means. The communication control means acquires the operation setting information from the second storage means, when radio communication connection is established between the portable electronic device and the function setting management device.
