<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increases of dimensions of an impact tool in a radial direction and an axial direction of a drive shaft, in the impact tool with a clutch mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: This impact tool 1 has an impact mode and a drill driver mode, and includes the clutch mechanism 4, and the clutch mechanism 4 includes a switching part 6 arranged at a rear side B of a hammer 51 and switching set torque, and the switching part 6 includes a movement member 9 movable in a longitudinal direction, and a part of a movement range in the longitudinal direction of the movement member 9 is overlapped with a retreat range of the hammer 51, and a control part 14 is further provided so that when the movement member 9 is positioned in the retreat range, rotation power is restricted, and the retreat range is narrowed to the outside of the overlapped range with the movement range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
