<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in a molten salt battery, the rupture of a conductive connection part due to the movement of electrodes caused by volume expansion/contraction relating to the melting/solidification and charging/discharging of molten salt. <P>SOLUTION: A molten salt battery uses molten salt as an electrolyte, and is operated at a temperature exceeding room temperature. The molten salt battery comprises: a plurality of flat plate-like positive electrodes and negative electrodes which are laminated via separators; collectors respectively provided in the positive electrodes and the negative electrodes; and a plurality of conductive connection parts which are provided to connect between each of the plurality of collectors and a strap. Each of the conductive connection parts is provided with an absorption mechanism which absorbs the movement of the positive electrodes and the negative electrodes in a flat plate surface direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
