<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the color gamut of another device when creating a device link profile for performing color conversion of image data in which the color gamut is compressed, into image data for the other device. <P>SOLUTION: A device link profile creation device performs color conversion of a first color value using the BtoA table 32 to acquire a second device value, the first color value which is to be color-converted into a device value in a predetermined range from a first device value of the outermost periphery of the color gamut of a device N by a BtoA table 32 of the device N. The device acquires a second color value by performing color conversion on the second device value using an AtoB table 31 of the device N. The device replaces a color value corresponding to the first device value included in the AtoB table 31 with a first color value having the largest color difference from a second color value, thereby creating a new AtoB table.
