PURPOSE: A slide type hand held optical fiber thermal coating peeler is provided to easily peel an optical fiber in a safe manner. CONSTITUTION: A slide type hand held optical fiber thermal coating peeler comprises a main body(200), a coating peeling unit(100), and an optical fiber guide unit(300). The main body comprises a gripper(210) and a slider(220) which is installed in one end of the gripper in a slidable manner. The coating peeling unit is connected to one side of the maid body and peels the coating of an optical fiber(420,430). The optical fiber guide unit is protruded from one side of a rotary cover (120) and a fixed cover(110). Replaceable guide units(311,321) are installed in the optical fiber guide unit of the fixed cover(310) and the guide unit of the rotary cover(320). The replaceable guide units form an optical fiber guide recess(330) in the center when the rotary cover is closed. |
