PURPOSE: A molten metal supplying nozzle of a metal strip casting facility with a replaceable nozzle tip is provided to prevent the abnormal flow of the molten metal, stabilizing a flow for uniformly supplying the molten metal, and minimizing damages at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION: A molten metal supplying nozzle(10) of a metal strip casting facility is such that a groove(12), in which the molten metal is detained, is formed inside, and an outlet(14), which is connected to the groove(12) in order to discharge the molten metal, is formed at one side end. A nozzle tip(20) is separately installed at the outlet(14) side end of the nozzle(10). The material of the nozzle tip(20) has a relatively higher strength than that of the nozzle(10). The nozzle(10) is isolated from the bottom surface of the groove(12), and is installed across both ends of the groove(12). The nozzle(10) includes at least one blocking member(30) which is extended to the upper end of the nozzle(10), and runs the molten metal through a discharging port(32) which is between the bottom surface of the groove(12) and the blocking member(30). A detention basin(18) is formed on the bottom of the groove(18) of the nozzle(10) in a width direction. The blocking member(30) is formed on the upper side of the dam of the nozzle(10). The nozzle tip(20) is attached to the nozzle(10) by the medium of the hot cement. |
