CONSTITUTION: A method for producing high-carbon steel comprises the steps of: homogenizing a steel material that includes 0.45 wt% or greater of C in a reheating temperature region and a rolling homogenized steel material in multiple stages of different temperature regions through high-temperature and low-temperature compressive transformation, where the low-temperature compressive transformation is implemented in an isothermal transformation temperature region.
