<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply effective decorations that enhance visibility of characters while reflecting a hierarchical structure of an electronic document. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic document decoration device analyzes a hierarchal structure of a document in an electronic document, extracts colors of characters and a background within a specified decoration range from the hierarchal structure, creates a plurality of drawing colors to be used for decoration using brightness of the colors, sets a plurality of decoration patterns considering visibility of the characters and effective decorations using the plurality of drawing colors, and on the basis of the plurality of decoration patterns, decorates and displays the decoration range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
