<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide caption information different in each of a plurality of users, in a system in which the users view one video display screen. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing device that provides users who view the video display screen showing a video with sub-information comprises: a display optical system that includes information display screen for displaying the sub-information and combines light from the video display screen and light from the information display screen, thereby enabling a user to perceive it; a detection part that detects the position of the video display screen in the view field of the user; and a display control part that displays the sub-information in a position corresponding to the video display screen in the view field of the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
