<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main rope inspection device of an elevator capable of inspecting damage to a main rope of the elevator by using a pulse signal. <P>SOLUTION: The main rope inspection device of the elevator includes a rope end fixing unit which is equipped with a machine room-less elevator, includes a rod 14, a spring member 12, a spring receiving member 11, a nut 10, a rope fixing member 9 or the like, and fixes a main rope 1 to a beam member 2 in a vertically extending manner so that an upper surface of an end 1a of the main rope 1 is exposed, a transmission unit 20 which is abutted on an upper surface of the exposed end 1a of the main rope 1, and allows the incident wave 22 as the pulse signal to be incident on the upper surface of the exposed end 1a of the main rope 1, a reception unit 19 for receiving the reflected wave 21 generated according to the incident wave 22, and a determination unit 17 for determining any damage of the main rope 1 based on the reflected wave 21 received by the reception unit 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
