<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of reducing influence of eccentricity of a pulley without applying an excessive burden to a moving mechanism in a sub-scanning direction. <P>SOLUTION: This printer includes an ink head, a main scanning motor, a sub-scanning motor 7, a sub-scanning pulley 54 and a CPU. The ink head is provided with a plurality of nozzles. Each interval between the plurality of nozzles in the sub-scanning direction has a predetermined distance Dn. The main scanning motor is adapted to move the ink head in the main scanning direction. The sub-scanning pulley 54 rotates around a rotary shaft 55 as the center by driving force of the sub-scanning motor 7 to move a platen 5 in the sub-scanning direction. The CPU drives the ink head and the like in an interlaced fashion to form an image in a unit region, in which the distance in the sub-scanning direction is the predetermined distance Dn, by N times of passes. A rotation angle of the sub-scanning pulley 54 during performing N times of passes is in the range of 80 to 100 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
