<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus and an ink jet recording method whereby an image of a higher quality can be recorded by surely suppressing generation of density irregularities of a recording image caused by a difference of recording characteristics of a plurality of nozzles in a recording head. <P>SOLUTION: Large nozzles and small nozzles in the recording head can form large dots and small dots to the same positions on a recording medium, respectively. A use nozzle is determined from among the large nozzles and small nozzles according to variations in ink ejection amount of the nozzles, without changing an arrangement pattern of dots. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
