<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a camera to be rotated in a horizontal direction while maintaining leveling and the intentional lateral inclination, elevation angle, and depression angle of the camera, even when a camera angle is changed by rotation in the horizontal direction and the change in elevation angle and depression angle, by vertically maintaining an axial center of a screw hole for a camera of a universal head for a camera, which is used to attach the universal head for a camera to a tripod. <P>SOLUTION: Currently, a universal head is attached to a body of a camera tripod via an elevator. A leveling device is used on the universal head to achieve such a structure that the camera can be rotated in the horizontal direction while maintaining leveling and the intentional lateral inclination, elevation angle, and depression angle of the camera by the leveling device attached to the universal head regardless of the change of the camera angle though the body of the camera tripod is slightly inclined, that is, though a major axis direction of the elevator does not coincide with a vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
