<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that prevent malfunction in other electronic apparatus from occurring, even if the electric apparatus has a defective circuit therein and is connected to the other electronic apparatus, and to provide an optical apparatus and an interchangeable lens. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic apparatus, an imaging lens 20 comprises a circuit protection mechanism part 30. The circuit protection mechanism part 30 moves a coupling regulation member 34B to an operation position projecting outside from a mount surface 20Ma of a lens side mount 20M by driving an operation mechanism 34C with a protection driving mechanism 34, on the basis of a detection signal from a short circuit monitor part 33 detecting a short circuit in a power source line 24, and disables the imaging lens 20 from being mounted on a camera body 10, thereby preventing conductive connection between a lens side contact point 20P and a body side contact point 10P on the camera body 10.
