<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress false detection of an obstacle by an obstacle detection apparatus 1101. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle detection apparatus 1101 comprises: a transmission antenna 1001 for transmitting radio waves; a reception antenna 1002 for receiving radio waves transmitted to and reflected by an obstacle; an obstacle detection unit 311 configured to detect the obstacle on the basis of the received radio waves; a false detection determination unit 1011 configured to determine presence or absence of a false detection characteristic, which is set in advance, with regard to the detected obstacle; a camera 302 for capturing an image; and an obstacle existence determination unit 1012 configured to determine, on the basis of the image captured by the camera 302, presence or absence of the obstacle on which it is determined that the false detection characteristic is present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
