<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank device that can make a fuel tank lightweight by suppressing an excessive rise in internal pressure of the fuel tank, and securely prevent excessive fuel supply. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel tank device 10A includes a fuel tank 12 which stores fuel, a fuel supply pipe 14 for supplying fuel to the fuel tank 12 from outside, a vapor passage 28 through which vapor fuel produced in the fuel tank 12 is guided, a canister 30 which adsorbs the vapor fuel guided through the vapor passage 28, an outside air passage 32 for guiding outside air to the canister 30, a purging passage 34 which guides the vapor fuel adsorbed by the canister 30 to the intake passage 302 of an internal combustion engine 300 together with the outside air guided from the outside air passage, and a valve mechanism 18 which can cut off a communication state between the interior of the fuel tank 12 and the outside air through the outside air passage 32, and the valve mechanism 18 cuts off the communication state only during fuel supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
