<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for generating reference voltage with little power consumption in a conventional size. <P>SOLUTION: A band gap reference circuit adds voltage proportional to difference voltage when current having different current density is allowed to flow in joining of a semiconductor to voltage proportional to forward voltage generated in the joining of the semiconductor to set output voltage. In the band gap reference circuit, "voltage proportional to the difference voltage" is generated by a first tunnel current element to which the difference voltage is applied, a circuit serially connected with a second tunnel current element or a plurality of second tunnel current elements and means for allowing the current proportional to current flowing in the first tunnel current element to flow to the second tunnel current elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
