<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an entire battery device compact by avoiding overlapping of a battery pack in a thickness direction. <P>SOLUTION: A longitudinal length of each battery pack mounted in parallel to each of two battery mounting parts 20, 20 is made such that the battery packs are aligned and arranged in parallel to each other. Also, a housing part 60, in which a main control substrate is mounted, is arranged in a direction crossing with the respective longitudinal directions of the battery packs mounted to the battery mounting parts 20, 20 aligned and arranged in parallel to each other. A slide-mounting direction to the battery mounting parts 20, 20 of the battery packs is set to a direction along the longitudinal direction of the battery pack.
