<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image forming device which can be easily controlled with a simple device, can maintain high inspection accuracy, and is suitable for a defect inspection device; and a defect inspection device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: When an image input unit 51 images a sheet-like molding being a subject to acquire two-dimensional image data, an image processing unit 52 applies a predetermined image processing to the two-dimensional image data to generate image data for analysis.
