<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a television receiver and electronic equipment which are more unsusceptible to a problem when a plurality of modules are disposed on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A second substrate 7 having a smaller size than a first substrate includes a first surface 7a and a second surface. A first connector 9 of the first surface is located closer to a display device. A first planar part is located between a first connector and a first fixing part, and no surface-mounted part is mounted on the first planar part. A second connector of a second surface is located opposite to the first surface. A second planar part is located between a second connector and a second fixing part, and no surface-mounted part is mounted on the second planar part. A first card module 8A extends along the first surface, and is disposed on the first planar part. A second card module 8B extends along the second surface, and is disposed on the second planar part at a position at least partially overlapped with the first card module in a thickness direction of the second substrate.
