PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive absorption of a sizing agent during the interruption of production.

SOLUTION: A sizing agent which is absorbed in a textile material 3 is fed to the inside of an inlet wedge gap 6 and is absorbed in the textile material. A sizing agent feed section 7 is adjusted dependent on the rotation number of a drive roll 4 by a control section 9 so that the supply amount of the sizing agent is controlled.
