ROUTE SEARCH DEVICE AND ROUTE INFORMATION GENERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for a route according to the driving easiness of each link on the basis of a psychological condition of a driver.

SOLUTION: A route search device 100 comprises a control device 10 executing the functions of: obtaining a pickup image of a driver at an observation timing; extracting feature zones of the driver's face to calculate their indication amounts; determining a psychological condition level at the observation timing on the basis of the degree of correlation between the calculated indication amount and a reference indication amount being reference; specifying a travel link where the driver exists at the observation timing; calculating a difficulty evaluation value of the travel link on the basis of the psychological condition level; storing or updating the difficulty evaluation value of a link contained in map information 200 on the basis of the difficulty evaluation value of the travel link; calculating the degree of travel difficulty based on the difficulty evaluation value of each link in a searched route by referring to the map information 200; and searching for a recommended route with a low degree of travel difficulty.
