摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical receiving unit operate faster by expanding a band of a PD having a large light-receiving diameter using the same step as the conventional PD manufacturing step. <P>SOLUTION: A light-receiving device includes: a photodetection element having a lamination structure consisting of a first semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type, a light absorption layer on the first semiconductor layer, and a second semiconductor layer of a second conductivity type on the light absorption layer formed above a semiconductor substrate; an inductor connected to the photodetection element above the semiconductor substrate; an output electrode which extracts current generated by the photodetection element via the inductor; an electrode for bias application which applies a bias electrode to the photodetection element; and an intersecting wiring which intersects with a metal wiring of the inductor and electrically connects between the photodetection element and the output electrode or the electrode for bias application. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
