<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment registration method and an equipment registration system for easily performing the number issue management of an equipment address, and for easily creating an equipment registration table. <P>SOLUTION: An equipment address U of home equipment 1 to which a GW address IP of a gateway device 3 is added is transmitted to a center server 4, and an identification information K of portable equipment 2 to which the GW address IP of the gateway device 3 is added is transmitted to the center server 4.
