<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating that can be assembled efficiently at low cost without welding throughout all processes of assembly, and its assembling method. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a lattice-shaped grating 1 including main bars 2, a cross bar 3, and end plates 3. The cross bar 3 penetrates the respective main bars 2, and the cross bar 3 and main bars 2 are coupled and fixed together by plastically deforming parts of the cross bar 3 between main bars into a substantially elliptic shape having a longitudinally long section. The main bars 2 arranged on both parallel endmost sides are coupled and fixed by caulking ends of the cross bar 3 as shown by 3b. Each main bar 2 has caulking pieces 5 on end faces on both end sides, the caulking pieces 5 are inserted into the end plates 4 and caulked to couple and fix the respective main bars 2 and end plates 4 together, thereby assembling the lattice-shaped grating 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
