<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banner which is more attractive with a flag body of which the upper part is kept semicircular and the wind-whipped part is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The banner includes a sheet-like flag body 2 formed of fabric, a pole insertion part 3 formed of fabric, and a flag pole 4. The flag body 2 includes a linear side edge part 7 and an upper edge part 8 which is continuous to the side edge part 7 and is curved like an arc, and the pole insertion part 3 is formed by sewing fabric into a cylinder around the side edge part 7 and the upper edge part 8 of the flag body 2 and includes a linear cylinder part 17 along the side edge part 7 of the flag body 2 and an arcuate cylinder part 18 curved like an arc along the upper edge part 8 of the flag body 7. The flag pole 4 includes a linear pole body 11 along the side edge part 7 of the flag body 2 and an arcuate pole part 12 along the upper edge part 8.
