<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint in which the load of a snap ring is reduced and furthermore, the assemblability of the snap ring is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: A snap ring 50 is formed in a rugged shape where an outer circumferential part 53 and an inner circumferential part 54 are notched at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. As a result, even if a supporting area of a seat 30 is enlarged by widening or the like, rigidity is reduced by outer circumferential recesses 55 and inner circumferential recesses 58 notched at equal intervals in the circumferential direction and elasticity of the snap ring 50 is ensured as a whole, thereby assemblability of the snap ring to a housing 20 is prevented from being reduced. Namely, a load of the snap ring 50 is reduced by enlarging the supporting area of the seat 30 and besides, the assemblability of the snap ring can be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
