<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce erroneous notification in "true invasion" detection compared to conventional techniques. <P>SOLUTION: When an invasion by a suspicious person or the like (provisional invasion) is detected in one or more monitoring areas among first to third monitoring areas and if a provisional invasion is re-detected at an interval of two or more seconds after having detected a first provisional invasion in one monitoring area, or if there is a time difference equal to or more than two seconds between respective detection times when provisional invasions are detected in two or more monitoring areas, the monitoring device determines that the provisional invasion is a true invasion, and notifies a responsible security company of presence of an intruder by a mail or the like to cause a staff member to immediately rush to a site. On the other hand, when the monitoring device is in such a detection mode, and if the time difference is less than two seconds, the monitoring device determines that there was no true invasion in the monitoring areas (erroneous notification), and reverts to an initial state after measuring 20 seconds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
