<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a small number of feature vectors which are significantly different from other feature vectors are processed in the same way as a large majority of the other feature vectors, inevitably sorted, and displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A learning section learns a self-organization map using feature vectors and counts the number of updates of a reference vector for each unit of an output layer updated during learning. A correction section disables units having a corresponding count value being equal to or less than a first threshold value among the units of the self-organization map after the learning. A position determination section 15D defines, for each of plural feature vectors, a unit having a distance to the reference vector being equal to or less than a second threshold value and the shortest as a position of a unit to which the feature vector is assigned, from among units which are not disabled in the self-organization map after correction. A display section determines the display position of each feature vector within a list display region on the basis of the position of the unit to which each feature vector is assigned in the self-organization map after correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
